Last night was a double header for two things i’ve been waiting for for months. Radiohead and Hellboy.
Radiohead were great. Thom seemed a little off to begin with but eventually got into it. Highlights were Pyramid Song, Exit Music for a film, Idioteque and Paranoid android. The lighting was awesome as well.
During the slow part of paranoid android, I noticed something new. Looking down to the dancefloor, instead of the familiar sight of lighters held aloft, I noticed dozens of backlit lcd screens amongst the crowd, as everyone took pics with their cameras/phones.
You can see some shots [by someone else] of last night’s concert here.
Hellboy was pretty good, it’s not mind blowingly cool, but not much of it blew. Ron Perlman is great, Abe Sapien is suprisingly cool, Kroenen is cool and it was hardly disneyfied at all. I’ll still go an see it in the cinemas when comes out here in the backwaters of planet earth in September, as my VCD copy was sketchy and kept skipping and making weird tweeting noises.

I was there as well, it was a great show. You’re right about the lighting. Actually I think I might have seen you there, but then there were alot of guys with afros.
Hah!
But I’m currently afro-less.
Heh, it was you!
I went to Radiohead!
I heard. Although i also heard that you didn’t know who they were
